The new June 21, 2011, contains a report by the United Nations in the world against non-communicable diseases. The report says two thirds of all deaths worldwide are not communicable diseases such as cancer, lung and heart disease. The health costs of treating these diseases are in the billions of dollars annually and growing.
NCDs are diseases for the most part we get from bad air, bad water, sanitation, ill-contaminated fruits and vegetables, and infection with diseases such as areas that are left of the massive flooding throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Valley regions.
